Daxin Wu aka Danny, a native of China, has lived in New York City for 6 years as of 2007. Before moving to the US, he spent 8 years in Japan where he studied Asian Art History. He has spent his time in the US studying Film with a focus on Art Photography.
Daxin has participated in a number of exhibits over the years. Currently two pieces of his Currency Portraits Series are being shown at ChinaSquare in Chelsea as part of their “Dragon’s Evolution: Chinese Contemporary Photography Gallery” exhibit. You can view a large collection of his works at his personal show "Daxin Wu Portraits" from March 13th through the 23rd, 2008 at Edward Bennett of Absalom Interest Group located at 723 Washington St in Manhattan.
